Loudwill Joins Endurance Specialty for Casualty Treaty
Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., announced that Steven Loudwill has joined the company as Treaty Underwriter, based in London. He has more than 14 years of industry experience, and will be responsible for developing the Casualty Treaty Reinsurance business for the UK, Ireland and South Africa.
Protected classes include “Motor, Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers, Employers’ Liability, Public and Products Liability and Financial Institutions on a proportional and non proportional basis,” said the bulletin.

Prior to joining Endurance, Loudwill was with XL Re, most recently as Vice President, underwriting casualty business in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Gibraltar and Ireland. Prior to that focused on casualty specialty business in the London market. Loudwill began his career with the Hiscox Group, where he spent 10 years, most recently as Deputy Reinsurance Manager.
He holds a BSc. from the University of Exeter in Mathematics and Statistics and is ACII qualified.
