Everest Re Names Gourgeon as European General Manager
The Bermuda-based Everest Re Group has appointed Jean-Luc Gourgeon to the position of European General Manager, based in London.
He most recently served as the Chief Underwriting Officer for PARIS RE Group and CEO of PARIS RE France, having spent more than 20 years in various roles at PARIS RE and its predecessor companies. His responsibilities included underwriting and product development across various classes of business and territories.

Gourgeon is a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and has a Masters degree in mechanics from École Centrale de Lyon/Institut National des Sciences Appliquées/Université Claude Bernard.
