ACE European Group Appoints Levin Executive VP – Accident and Health
ACE European Group announced from London that it has appointed Edward Levin as Executive Vice President, Accident & Health and Personal Lines.
He joins ACE from Citigroup Insurance in London, where he was responsible for the development and growth of Citigroup’s insurance underwriting and brokerage businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Levin will report jointly to Michael Furgueson, President & COO, ACE Europe and David Miller, Executive VP – International Accident and Health. “Ed will continue to build on the recent successes of ACE’s European Accident & Health business, which makes a significant contribution to the overall European Group,” said the announcement. “The portfolio includes Direct Marketing with leading affinity sponsors, the broker generated PA business and Personal lines.” Levin is a Harvard graduate, with an MBA from Columbia University Business School; he has worked in the USA, Argentina and the UK.
