World Insurance Adds American Insurance Agency of Mass.

Global broker World Insurance Associates LLC announced that it acquired the business of American Insurance Agency (“American Insurance”) of Hingham, Massachusetts on June 1, 2026.

American Insurance, founded in 1991, specializes in construction, manufacturing, hospitality, restaurants, real estate, auto services, energy, entertainment and amusement, special events sectors, as well as skating and sports facilities.

James J. Farren, owner, American Insurance Agency. said joining World will expand the products and services the agency can offer its clients.

Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel to World on the transaction. Mirick, O’Connell, DeMallie & Lougee, LLP provided legal counsel to American Insurance.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

World Insurance, based in Iselin, New Jersey, is ranked #14 on Insurance Journal’s Top 100 Independent Property/Casualty Insurance Agencies list. The agency serves clients from more than 250 offices across the U.S. and U.K.
