MEMIC Promotes Jarrard and Roberts to Territory Manager Roles

The MEMIC Group, headquartered in Portland, Maine, promoted Sunny Jarrard to territory manager for its Southeast Region and Benjamin Roberts to territory manager for its Northeast Region.

Jarrard will guide MEMIC’s business across Virginia, Maryland, D.C., and Delaware, while also supporting the company’s portfolio in Tennessee. She will continue to lead MEMIC’s loss sensitive business, helping advance strategic initiatives and ensuring profitable growth across key markets.

Jarrard joined MEMIC in 2021 as a loss sensitive underwriter and was later promoted to loss sensitive segment leader.

Roberts will oversee the MEMIC business in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He will lead the underwriting team serving both states, strengthen agency partnerships, and support profitable growth of MEMIC’s regional portfolio. He joined MEMIC in 2019 as a senior production underwriter and was promoted to senior loss sensitive underwriter in 2024.

Both Jarrard and Roberts will report to Jim Keck, who was recently promoted to vice president of the Eastern Region, succeeding Jeff Funk, who is retiring after 20 years at MEMIC.

Khurana Joins Patriot Growth Insurance Services as Chief Information Officer

Patriot Growth Insurance Services, headquartered in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, appointed Barninder Khurana as chief information officer.

Khurana will lead Patriot’s enterprise technology strategy, architecture, and execution helping to advance the company’s growth model through scalable platforms, stronger integration, improved data and analytics, automation, security, and M&A technology. He previously served as chief technology officer at Cover Whale and chief information officer at GeoVera.
