New York Workers’ Comp Board to Close Two Virtual-Only Locations
The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board will be closing its virtual-only Allegany and New City locations, effective December 8, 2025.
Noting that most of its activity remains virtual, the board said it is consolidating some of its smallest, low-activity locations.
Over the past year, the board reopened many of its locations to the public for appointment-only in-person hearings and other services.
Requests for in-person hearings and appointments for Allegany are accommodated in Buffalo, and requests for New City are accommodated in White Plains. That will continue once these two locations are officially closed, the announcement said.
Information about requesting an in-person hearing or appointment is available at NYS WCB Locations.
