AXIS Appoints Watt as Chief Claims Officer
AXIS Capital Holdings Limited has hired Megan Watt as chief claims officer, effective April 17. Watt will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the claims department across the company’s global portfolio.
Watt joins the Pembroke, Bermuda-based company from Chubb, where she was the head of North America complex claims. She previously served as chief claims officer for Everest and held claims leadership roles at AIG. Watt will be based in New York, New York.
Security Mutual Hires Cavanaugh as Commerical Lines Underwriter
Cavanaugh brings more than three years of experience to his new role. He previously worked with Utica First Insurance Co. as a multi-line claim adjuster.
