Agency Partnerships: SAN Group Adds Woodland Agency of Massachusetts; Vermont’s Barrett Agency Joins Renaissance

Independent insurance agency alliance Satellite Agency Network (SAN) Group, Inc. recently announced the addition of Woodland Insurance Agency of Hanson, Massachusetts to its network.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, Woodland Insurance is an independently owned insurance agency offering home, auto, flood, and commercial lines.

In addition to co-owners Janine and Michael Harrison, who acquired Woodland Insurance in 2018, the agency employs two property/casualty insurance producers, Sharon Cummings and Sheri Dion.

According to the announcement, Janine Harrison will provide executive oversight of the agency and handle day-to-day operations. She is a licensed insurance producer, notary public, tax preparers and a former professional cheerleader for the NFL’s New England Patriots.

SAN Group is the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast.

Renaissance Alliance Adds Vermont’s Barrett Agency

Renaissance Alliance reports it has added Barrett Insurance Agency in New England to its growing membership of independent agencies.

Based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Barrett Insurance Agency offers personal lines including home, auto, motorcycle, recreational vehicle and flood and commercial lines including general liability, farm and workers’ compensation, as well as disability and life insurance products.

The agency is owned by Michael and Jennifer Barrett.
