Hub Acquires Winter Harbor Insurance Group in Massachusetts

Global insurance broker Hub International reports it has acquired the assets of Winter Harbor Insurance Group.

Located in Woburn, Massachusetts, Winter Harbor Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency providing commercial and personal insurance.

Jimmy Aiken, president of Winter Harbor, will join Hub New England.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Chicago, Hub International continues to be among the most active acquirers of insurance agencies. According to a midyear year report by consultant Optis Partners, Hub reported 35 deals during the first half of this year.
