People Moves: USG Insurance Services Hires Partazana; Cross Insurance Promotes Branning

USG Insurance Services Inc., a national wholesaler and managing general agency, named Kathy Partazana as director of human resources in the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, branch.

Partazana joins the USG team with 24 years of experience in human resources, talent management, compliance and diversity and inclusion. As director of human resources at USG Insurance Services, she will oversee all HR and compliance operations, as well as work to enhance USG’s current repertoire of programs and internal offerings.

This move is the most recent change that USG has implemented in its plan to continue expanding its operations nationally as a wholesaler brokerage firm.

Cross Insurance, a Bangor, Maine-based subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp., promoted David Branning as regional senior vice president.

Branning joined Cross Insurance in 2016 as an account executive and later became branch manager of Somersworth and Exeter, New Hampshire, in 2017. Then, he became vice president and branch manager of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in 2019.

In his new role as regional senior vice president, Branning will be responsible for developing and growing commercial lines results in Connecticut and New York. He will relocate from Massachusetts to Connecticut.
