Suspect Arrested in June 21 Fatal Shooting in Connecticut Hotel
A suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting last June in a Meriden hotel, police said.
Trevor Outlaw, 33, was arrested Friday in the June 21, 2020 death of Giovanni Rodriguez at the Comfort Inn on East Main Street, the New Haven Register reports.
Outlaw, also known as “Wolf,” “Wolfie” and “F1,” faces charges of murder, criminal possession of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Rodriguez was found in the entranceway to the hotel with a gunshot wound to his chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities named Outlaw as a person wanted for questioning in the shooting in September.
Outlaw is being held on $2 million bond. He is due back in court on March 9.
