Established in 1939 by Francis Lathrop Sr., Lathrop Insurance is a full-service independent insurance agency providing an array of insurance offerings and customer service to businesses, individuals and families in New England and beyond. The agency has many areas of commercial expertise, including coastal risk, contractors, restaurants and not-for-profits.

Founded in 1999, Renaissance Alliance is a membership alliance for independent agencies specializing in property and casualty insurance. It provides its members with higher commissions, access to more carriers, products and markets.
