Man Injured After Wall Collapses in New Hampshire Construction Accident
New Hampshire officials say a man was seriously injured after being pinned under a concrete wall in a construction accident.
WMUR-TV reports Pelham fire and police officials were able to dig the unidentified man out by hand after a wall collapsed on him Monday.
The man was working on a construction project on a private home in Pelham where an addition was being built.
He was transported by a medical helicopter from nearby Pelham Elementary School to a Boston hospital.
Pelham Deputy Fire Chief Paul Leischner says these types of construction incidents don’t often happen, but they were lucky to have officers nearby to help quickly dig the man out.
The cause of wall collapse is still under investigation.
