Vermont Hires New Chief Information Security Officer
The state of Vermont has hired a new chief information security officer.
The appointment of Nicholas Andersen was announced by the state last week.
Agency of Digital Services Secretary John Quinn says Andersen’s “skillset and experiences will benefit our ongoing security initiatives, as well as promote additional innovative initiatives.”
Since 2017, Andersen has served as a vice president at Invictus International Consulting and co-founder of Pueo Business Solutions.
He has also worked in cybersecurity in partnership with the Defense Intelligence Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Army, Coast Guard, Navy, and the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyber Command.
