Police Say More Than $75K in Equipment Stolen from Connecticut Business
Police in Connecticut are searching for a suspect they say stole thousands of dollars’ worth of construction equipment from a business.
WVIT-TV reports Watertown, Conn., police were called Monday when a business discovered equipment had been stolen from a tractor-trailer. Police believe the theft happened sometime over the weekend. The business is located near the Watertown Industrial Park.
Authorities say the stolen items include three hydraulic pump set-ups, saws and about 1,000 pounds of heavy gauge copper. The pump set-ups are valued at $25,000 each.
Anyone who comes across someone in possession of the missing items or someone trying to sell the items is asked to contact Watertown police.
