Virginia’s Continental Underwriters Promotes Huang to Chief Operating Officer

Continental Underwriters Inc., a Richmond, Va.-based managing general underwriter and wholesale broker, has promoted Amanda Huang to chief operating officer.

Huang has been a part of Continental for more than 12 years. She has taken on many roles within the company, including in underwriting, accounting and operations.

Continental specializes in providing insurance and risk management solutions for companies in the forest products industry. Working with more than 30 carriers who specialize in forest products, the company is equipped to manage any forest products placement for an agent or broker.
