Alliant Hires Massachusetts-Based Long to Energy and Marine Group
Alliant has hired Charlie Long as vice president in its Energy and Marine Group, where he will provide targeted solutions to a growing international client base.
Long, based in Boston, Mass., brings 27 years of experience to this role. He joins Alliant with a track record for designing and delivering solutions to clients across all facets of the renewable energy and clean technology sectors, including wind, solar, biomass, landfill gas and ocean power. Specializing in complex risk management, Long has a skill set that includes contract review and recommendations, loss control and program design.
Prior to joining Alliant, Long was area senior vice president with a global insurance brokerage firm, where he serviced a diverse client base ranging from start-ups to large public companies.
The Energy and Marine Group of Alliant is focused exclusively on providing risk management and insurance solutions to the energy and marine industries. Its team of technical experts works collaboratively to design and deliver innovative solutions for an array of clients with domestic and international operations.
