Chubb Appoints Reiss as Executive Vice President in New York
Chubb, the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company, has appointed Steven Reiss as executive vice president and real estate and hospitality industry practice leader.
He will be based in New York and will report to Chris Maleno, president of Chubb’s North America major accounts division.
In this role, Reiss will be responsible for the underwriting strategy, production, marketing, product development and management and profit and loss performance for the company’s real estate and hospitality industry practice within its North America major accounts division.
He will lead Chubb’s team of underwriters, risk engineers and service specialists across multiple lines of business to deliver insurance solutions to the real estate and hospitality industries. Chubb’s real estate and hospitality industry practice serves U.S. and Canadian real estate owners and managers, as well as hospitality-related companies, offering a broad suite of insurance coverages.
Reiss brings more than 25 years of global underwriting, distribution and client management experience in commercial insurance lines to his new role. He most recently served as chief operating officer in Continental Europe.
