Selective Insurance Announces Officer Appointments in New Jersey

Selective Insurance Group Inc. in Branchville, New Jersey, announced the following appointments by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America.

Jamie Beal to assistant vice president, director of Communications. Beal joined Selective in September 2015. Prior to that, she served as senior manager of Internal Communications at Toys”R”Us.

Matthew Caton to assistant vice president, Property Claims. Caton joined Selective in July 2015. Prior to that, he served as associate manager of Property Claims for North and South Carolina for Travelers Insurance. He holds the Associate in Claims, Associate in Insurance Services and Certified Insurance Counselor designations.

James Gottshall to assistant vice president, Analytics Strategy. Gottshall rejoined Selective in September 2015 after serving as assistant vice president, Analytics Integration at the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

Vaibhav Kalia to assistant vice president, Portfolio Manager. Kalia joined Selective in February 2014. Prior to that, he served as vice president, Risk and Quantitative Analysis at BlackRock Financial Management.

Nathan Rugge to assistant vice president, Actuarial Pricing. Rugge joined Selective in November 2009 as an actuarial assistant.
