Hub International Announces 2 Appointments in Northeast

Hub International Limited announced that its subsidiary Hub New England hired Christopher Taylor as senior vice president and marketing executive for Specialty Lines.

Taylor brings directors and officers liability (D&O) expertise to the territory where he will focus on specialty lines growth initiatives including the placement of management and executive liability products for HUB New England’s commercial lines clients. He will be based in the Wilmington, Massachusetts, office.

Most recently, Taylor was vice president with Aon Risk Services based in the Greater Boston area for over 12 years, where he was responsible for placement of management liability coverage lines across various industries. Taylor has over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Hub International Limited also announced that its subsidiary Hub Northeast hired Lou Shapiro as vice president of Business Development.

In this role, Shapiro will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic property/casualty, personal lines and employee benefits insurance and risk management services throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Based out of the firm’s Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, office, Shapiro holds over two decades of insurance industry experience. He most recently served as senior sales executive at brokerage RCM&D.
