N.H. Gov.: Businesses Need Relief From Rising Workers’ Comp Costs
New Hampshire’s businesses need relief from rising workers’ compensation costs and more access to capital investment partners.
That’s the message from New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan who urged lawmakers in her State of the State address on Feb. 6 to adopt workers’ compensation reform to save money.
Hassan noted the House just passed a measure to change the compensation system and she said the Senate must follow suit.
She also announced a finance summit will be held this year to help partner lenders with businesses that are seeking to start or expand.
