Maryland’s Chesapeake Employers Promotes Dreher to Director of Underwriting
Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company, formerly IWIF, recently announced that Joanne Dreher has been promoted to director of underwriting.
Since 1999, Dreher has held the position of underwriting supervisor. She has more than 30 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance underwriting field, with more than 20 years of leadership experience within the insurance industry.
Prior to joining Chesapeake Employers, Dreher held underwriting and leadership positions with Zurich Insurance and CNA Insurance Companies.
Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company is Maryland’s largest writer of workers’ comp insurance. It is a nonprofit, non-stock, private corporation. Formerly known as IWIF, Chesapeake Employers has served as a continuous, guaranteed source for fairly priced workers’ compensation insurance since 1914.
