PwC US Names Managing Director for Actuarial and Insurance Management in N.Y.
PricewaterhouseCoopers US (PwC US) announced that Henry Essert joined PwC’s Actuarial and Insurance Management Solutions (AIMS) practice as a managing director in its New York office.
In his new role, Essert will lead the insurance risk practice, where he will apply his four decades of experience in risk management and consulting to lead high profile client projects across life, P/C and health payor segments.
Prior to joining PwC, Essert served as managing director at BlackRock where he led the insurance sector initiatives for the financial markets advisory business. He also held leadership positions at Ernst & Young, MetLife and Oliver Wyman. He is a fellow within the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
