Endurance’s Chief Actuary Leaving to Take University Post in Philly
Endurance Specialty Holdings said Michael Angelina, its chief risk officer and chief actuary, will be leaving the company to take a university post in Philadelphia.
Angelina will assume the position of executive director of the Academy of Risk Management and Insurance at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
He joined Endurance as its chief risk officer and chief actuary in June 2005. His insurance career includes actuarial roles with CIGNA and Reliance Reinsurance and more recently a 17-year period with Tillinghast and Towers Perrin where he was a senior consulting actuary and the managing principal for the Philadelphia practice.
