Zurich Appoints Chief Underwriting Officer in North America

Zurich has promoted industry veteran Sabrina Hart to chief underwriting officer for Global Corporate in North America. Hart replaces Paul Horgan who is relocating to Switzerland to become global head of group reinsurance. She will continue to be located in New York.

Previously, Hart served as chief operating officer for Zurich Global Corporate in North America. She joined Zurich in 1997 as regional manager of the healthcare group in the Southeast region for Zurich North America Commercial. She has served in a number of senior management positions at Zurich, including executive vice president and chief underwriting officer of Zurich North America Specialties, and head of risk operations within group risk management at Zurich Financial Services. Before joining Zurich, she had also worked with Marsh USA.
