Massachusetts-Based Arbella Insurance Appoints New Hampshire Director

Arbella Insurance Group, a Quincy, Mass.-based provider of business and personal insurance for the New England region, hired Robin Maddox as territory manager for the state of New Hampshire. Maddox previously worked as the New Hampshire regional director for Cincinnati Insurance Co.

A resident of Manchester, N.H., Maddox brings to Arbella Insurance her experience in working with insurance agents across New Hampshire. She has expertise in commercial lines underwriting, products and processes and will work Arbella Insurance’s local agents.

Arbella Insurance underwrites business and personal insurance products, including automobile, dwelling fire, homeowners and watercraft. In 2010, it reported direct written premium of $633.2 million and pretax operating income of $22.7 million.
