HUB Acquires N.H. Benefits Firm

Hub has acquired the assets of Workplace Benefit Solutions (WBS) a Manchester, New Hampshire-based employee benefit brokerage and consulting firm.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

WBS will become part of Hub International New England, and its employees will remain in their existing office in Manchester. David Larrivee, principal consultant and founder, and Tom DeLacey, principal consultant, will join Hub as part of this transaction and report to Michael S. Chapman, chief sales officer for Hub New England.

Founded in 2001, WBS is an employee benefits advisory firm that works primarily with mid- to large-size companies throughout New England. Its specialty niches include employee benefits programs for the healthcare industry and the public sector.
