Aspen Adds Two Execs to U.S. Surety Unit
Specialty insurer Aspen has added two execs to its Connecticut-based U.S. surety team.
James Mercier will serves as senior vice president, associate general counsel and claims, surety. Scott Sadowsky will serve as senior vice president, finance & operations
Mercier joins Aspen from a private practice law firm. He has over 25 years of surety underwriting, claims and legal experience and previously worked for both Travelers and The Hartford.
Sadowsky joins Aspen from The Hartford where his responsibilities included field operations & technology. He has over 22 years of surety underwriting, reinsurance and operational experience at both the field and home office levels and previously worked for NacRe and Travelers.
