XL Adds Schenone to Space Underwriting Unit

Insurer XL has appointed Robert C. Schenone as vice president and senior class underwriter in its space underwriting unit.

Schenone, who will be based in New York, joins XL Insurance from Sciemus Ltd., where he served as head of the company’s Americas operation and lead satellite underwriter. He has held previous positions with ACE in Bermuda as a satellite underwriter and more than 15 years with Marsh Inc. in both the U.S. and Bermuda.
