Brookey Joins PMA Companies

PMA Cos. has named Patricia A. Brookey as assistant vice president for managed care services.

Brookey will oversee the managed care vendor management program for the Blue Bell, Pa.-based insurer, which emphasizes managed care as a crucial area of workers’ compensation and an increasing area of client and industry focus.

Brookey has 20 years of expertise in managed care services, with particular emphasis on vendor contract negotiation, quality assurance, statistical analysis and compliance. Previously, she was director of case management operations fort the workers’ compensation strategy division of CNA Insurance Co.
