Worker Rescued after Fall into New Jersey Silo
A worker who fell nearly 40 feet into a silo filled with flour at a New Jersey business apparently escaped with only minor injuries.
The unidentified man was in the silo at the Kellogg USA plant in Winslow Township for nearly an hour before emergency crews freed him just before 5 p.m. Friday.
He appeared to be conscious and was standing under his own power after being lowered to the ground, but further details on his condition were not immediately available.
Authorities were not sure what caused the man to fall into the silo, and it was not immediately known if he was a plant employee or was working for another firm.
