Crash Victim’s Widow Sues New Jersey Truck Driver
A Vermont woman whose husband died when a tractor-trailer slammed into two vehicles is suing the driver for negligence.
Forty-two-year-old Kenneth A. Middlebusher, of Deptford, N.J., is charged with gross negligent operation of a motor vehicle resulting in death. He has pleaded innocent.
The April 16 accident on Route 9 in Woodford killed Jeffrey Lamore, 29, of Stamford, passenger Thomas Peterson, 32, of Readsboro, and Paul Beebe, 53, of Brattleboro.
Jennifer Peterson is suing Middlebusher, truck owner Heartland Express and a paper company whose product was being hauled by the truck. Middlebusher denies the allegations in the suit and wants a jury trial on them.
