Hanover Names Morelli Regional V.P., Personal Lines, in N.Y.
The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. announced that Roger Morelli has been named regional vice president for personal lines for the company’s New York territory. Morelli will be responsible for both the Upstate and Westchester County New York territories.
Morelli comes to The Hanover from Safeco Insurance, where he served as sales and distribution manager for the company’s New York, Vermont and New Hampshire territories.
Previously, Morelli had served in various marketing and operations roles at Liberty Mutual, Allstate and Continental Insurance, and on the agency side of the business, at the Irwin Siegel Agency in Rock Hill, New York.
Prior to Morelli joining the company, The Hanover’s upstate New York region was managed by Len Ryer, and Westchester County was managed by Mary Bernadette Corrigan. Now, as Morelli joins the company, Ryer will continue in his responsibility for personal lines in The Hanover’s New England region (except Massachusetts), while Corrigan will focus her efforts on personal lines in the New Jersey region, and in New York City and Long Island.
