The Hanover Searches for New CFO
The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. announced that Edward J. Parry III, The Hanover’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, has resigned his positions and plans to leave the company, effective June 15, 2007. A search for his successor is underway.
Parry joined the company as a merger and acquisition specialist in 1992 and has served as chief financial officer since 1996. The Technology, Investments and Claims departments and the Life Company segment report to him and he is a director of the company.
Parry will serve as a director of the company through the end of his term, expiring May 15, 2007, and will not stand for re-election.
The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc., based in Worcester, Mass., is the holding company for a group of insurers that includes The Hanover Insurance Company, also based in Worcester, Citizens Insurance Company of America, headquartered in Howell, Michigan, and their affiliates.
