OneBeacon Taps McDonough as CFO

OneBeacon Insurance Group, a subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd., has named Paul McDonough as chief financial officer reporting to CEO Mike Miller.

McDonough will oversee all financial operations for Boston-based OneBeacon and its subsidiary businesses.

McDonough brings 15 years of experience gained in the property and casualty and retail industries. Most recently he was executive vice president and CFO for BJ’s Wholesale Club. From 1999-2004 McDonough was with St. Paul Travelers, where he was appointed treasurer in 2001. He also spent several years with Sears and with Chevron in financial positions of increasing responsibility.
