February 6, 2004

The Independent Insurance Agents of New Jersey will hold a marathon two-day session for continuing education credits at its “Spring Fling,” scheduled for March 16 and 17, 2004 at the Sheraton in Eatontown, New Jersey.

The program is designed for agents, brokers and agency personnel looking to participate in quality education programs while earning anywhere from 2 to 10 continuing education credits towards license renewal.

Included in the two day event is an IIANJ membership reception hosted by the IIANJ Young Agents and a luncheon to discuss industry updates and the hot issue of insurance scoring. Eight quality programs are being offered in areas including personal lines, commercial lines, excess & surplus, and agency management.

The bulletin listed the following courses to be taught “by members of IIANJ’s top notch faculty:”
— Personal Lines Case Study
— Changes and Challenges in Commercial Lines
— Ethics in Insurance
— Managing Your Agency with On-line Assistance
— Excess & Surplus Lines
— Putting out the Fires – Agency Management
— Pathways to Agency Improvement

“This is a chance for our members to come to one centrally located facility and reap the benefits of education and networking at the same time,” commented IIANJ Chairman Scott Stanford. “We have striven to identify what our members’ needs are and have put together a program designed to address all that and more.”
