Northfield to Provide Coverage for N.Y. Snowmobile Clubs

New York Gov. George Pataki announced that the state insurance department has secured comprehensive insurance coverage for New York’s snowmobile clubs through Northfield Insurance Company.

The new agreement with Northfield Insurance Company will affect policies in-force, up for renewal and clubs seeking insurance.

New York Insurance Superintendent Gregory Serio noted that clubs which have already obtianed coverage with Northfield should receive written confirmation from Northfield regarding the additional coverage. Clubs looking for additional coverage should contact the New York State Snowmobile Association for information, or the Department’s Consumer Services Bureau at (518) 474-4555.
