Odyssey Re Announces Board Changes

Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. of New York announced changes to its board of directors.

Namely, Brandon Sweitzer has been appointed to the board, replacing Paul Ingrey. Sweitzer will also be a member of OdysseyRe’s Audit and Compensation Committees. Ingrey resigned effective Sept. 3, 2002, citing his increasing responsibilities as chairman and CEO of Arch Reinsurance Ltd.

Sweitzer has an extensive background in the insurance and reinsurance industries, most recently assuming a senior advisory role for Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc.

Through July 2002, Sweitzer held the position of MMC Chairman of Strategic Client Development, charged with leadership of the firm’s client/prospect relationships globally.
