N.Y. Agents Trade Association Promotes Executive
Richard A. Poppa, Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of New York Inc., announced the promotion of Lisa Lounsbury, IIAANY’s vice president of marketing, membership and market research, to the newly created position of senior vice president, marketing and operations. In her new role as the number-two staff executive, Lounsbury will also manage IIAANY’s day-to-day operations and oversee the areas of finance, human resources, administration and facility management, and technology.
Lounsbury previously served as a product specialist, implementation coordinator and agency operations representative for Great American Insurance Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Independent Insurance Agents Association of New York Inc. is a not-for-profit trade association established in 1882 to promote and represent the common business interests of independent property-casualty agents. The Association, whose headquarters are located in Syracuse, N.Y., represents about 1,700 member agencies and their 18,000 employees.
