Connecticut to Host Insurance Fraud Summit

The Connecticut Insurance Department will be hosting its second annual Insurance Fraud Summit on Nov. 21, 2000 in Hartford, Conn. The summit will be a day-long event featuring state and national experts, including Howard Goldblatt, director of government affairs for the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud; Robert Ober with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners; Joseph Cohen, director of the Insurance Fraud Bureau for Kentucky and chairman of the NAIC anti-fraud task force; and William Mahon, executive director of the National Health Care Anti-fraud Association. Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Susan F. Cogswell will also speak at the event.
