Penn Treaty’s Glen Levit, 33, Passes Away
Glen A. Levit, senior vice president of Penn Treaty American Corp., passed away after a sudden illness. Levit, 33, also served as president of Penn Treaty Network America Insurance Company, PTA’s principal subsidiary.
Glen Levit’s responsibilities will be assumed by Irving Levit, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Penn Treaty American Corp., with the assistance of the company’s senior management team, which consists of James Heyer, Chief Operating Officer; A.J. Carden, Executive Vice President; and Cameron B. Waite, Chief Financial Officer.
The company issued the following statement: “In his 12 years with Penn Treaty American Corp., Glen Levit did much to sustain and enhance the positive direction of our business, while maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, service and innovation. He will be greatly missed by his family, and by his colleagues at Penn Treaty and within the long term care insurance industry.”
