Buffalo, N.Y. Independent Agency Launches e-Service Unit

The Lawley Service Insurance Group of Companies, the largest independent insurance agency in Buffalo, N.Y., has launched a new Internet division staffed with eight additional employees. Consumers can access their services at www.newyorkquote.com.

LSIGC represents over 50 major and regional insurance companies, boasting more than 175 employees in 8 locations throughout New York State. They were ranked by one industry publication as the 75th largest insurance agency in the United States.

Lawley is hoping its new site will attract business from other parts of New York state and believes the addition could potentially double its book of business within five years. Annual revenues for the agency currently top $16 million. The agency will launch an advertising campaign this fall and has already purchased other domain names, such as www.pennsylvaniaquote.com, for future expansion.
