Everest Re Affirmed

The “A+” financial strength rating (FSR) of Everest Reinsurance Co. and its four insurance affiliates was affirmed by A.M. Best following completion of the group’s restructuring plan. The other affected companies are Everest National Insurance Co., Everest Indemnity Insurance Co., Everest Insurance Co. of Canada and Southeastern Security Insurance Co. Concurrently, the rating was extended to new group affiliate Everest Reinsurance (Bermuda) Ltd., and the “a” senior debt rating of the unsecured debt obligations issued by Everest Reinsurance Holdings Inc. was affirmed.
