Trinity Underwriting Managers (TUMI), a division of Worldwide Facilities, has added Haley Kirchen as underwriter. She will be based in the Savannah, Ga., office.

Kirchen brings more than 15 years of experience to her new position including roles at Nationwide Insurance Co. and most recently at Brown & Brown, where she served as national program manager for the Towing Operators Protector Plan (TOPP).

Kirchen will assist with both the marketing and underwriting of TUMI’s Tow Program as she looks to expand TUMI’s market presence.

EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants has added attorney Jeremy Glassford to the firm’s Birmingham, Ala.-based National Energy Construction practice as a senior client executive, reporting to EPIC Managing Principal Crawford McInnis.

Glassford will be involved in all aspects of new business development, risk management and client retention, including needs assessment and exposure identification; risk management and insurance program audits; program design and placement; ongoing client management; program stewardship; and resource and vendor management.

Glassford joins EPIC from Birmingham-based law firm Balch & Bingham, where he was a commercial litigator. In that capacity, Glassford represented clients throughout the U.S., ranging from private equity investors and public utilities to product manufacturers and insurance companies.

XL Catlin’s North America Construction insurance business has appointed Ann Marie Snyder as senior underwriter to lead its Construction Excess Casualty business in its Southeast region.

Snyder joined XL Catlin in 2012 from Ironshore Insurance Services, where she served as a senior production specialist in its environmental underwriting unit. Her insurance career also includes tenure with AIG Environmental in both Atlanta and Philadelphia.

According to Ed Totten, senior vice president and underwriting manager in XL Catlin’s North America Construction Excess Casualty Profit Center, Snyder currently manages a book of lead umbrella and excess policies for contractors in the Mid-Atlantic region.

XL Catlin’s North America Construction insurance business also includes dedicated construction underwriters providing primary casualty, professional liability, builders risk, wrap ups, subcontractor default and pollution insurance, accompanied by risk engineering services.

Insurance Office of America (IOA) has added Leroy Maxwell to its Charleston, S.C., location as a risk management specialist.

Before joining IOA, Maxwell served as a commercial producer with Turbeville Insurance Agency, where he primarily focused on contractors. Additionally, Maxwell has years of insurance expertise and risk management experience helping law firms, manufacturers and medical professionals manage, mitigate and transfer risk.

Maxwell represents the insurance industry as a member of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, Berkeley Chamber of Commerce and South Carolina Association of Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors.
