Jackson Sumner & Associates (JSA) has hired Adam Winfree as the company’s Virginia marketing representative.

Winfree joins the company as a 13-year veteran of the insurance industry, having worked previously as personal lines manager for a retail agency in the Richmond, Va., area. His territory for JSA will include all of Virginia.

JSA is an excess and surplus lines managing general agent (MGA) that began in 1981 in Boone, N.C.

Satellite Agency Network Group Inc. (SAN), a Hampton, N.H.-based alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeastern U.S., has hired Jessica Stockwell as agency development field specialist.

In this role, Stockwell will be directly responsible for agency development and consulting services of SAN member agencies in western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania, with a focus on agency growth and development opportunities.

Stockwell is an insurance professional with 10 years of experience on both the carrier and agency sides of the industry. She has prior work experience in underwriting property and casualty, brokering, sales and managing professional relationships.

At SAN, Stockwell will work closely with Jeff Siebert, regional vice president of that same region. Together, they will be a resource for agencies facing start-up challenges, growing personal and commercial lines, technology adoption and usage and new business and retention strategies.

Arthur Hall Insurance, a West Chester, Penn.-based insurance agency, has hired Cynthia Hernandez as a commercial lines account manager.

In this role, Hernandez will be responsible for all client management services for the Commercial Lines Delaware Division of Arthur Hall Insurance.

Prior to joining Arthur Hall Insurance, Hernandez served as a senior account executive at Green Insurance Exchange LLC.

PMA Companies, a Pennsylvania-headquartered provider of workers’ compensation, casualty insurance, and TPA and risk services, has named Josephine Copeland as vice president of Managed Care.

In this role, Copeland is responsible for leading PMA’s corporate and field Managed Care operations. She reports to Derek Hopper, senior vice president of Shared Services, and is based in PMA Companies’ Blue Bell, Penn., office.

Copeland has experience in the workers’ compensation, commercial auto and group health industries, leading and developing managed care initiatives in the insurer and TPA markets, according to Hopper in a company press release.

Most recently, she served as vice president of Cost Containment at Broadspire, Crawford & Company’s global TPA and managed care services provider.

WKFC Underwriting Managers has hired Mark Reisig as chief underwriting officer of its Property division, based at the company’s headquarters in Melville, N.Y.

Reisig joins WKFC with more than 30 years of property insurance experience. His previous position was with Arch Insurance Group, where he served in a variety of roles in the Global Property division, both in New York and Bermuda. He most recently held the titles of senior vice president and product line manager of Commercial Property for Arch US.

Reisig began his career as a highly protected risk engineer at Industrial Risk Insurers in 1988, and two years later, he became a HPR underwriter. He joined Kemper International in 1992, beginning as a home foreign underwriter and eventually became the manager for its New York City, Eastern and Canadian regions. He then moved on to Willis, where he was an international account manager. He joined Arch in 2002.

Rogers & Gray Insurance, a South Dennis, Mass.-based insurance agency, has named Robert Bizak to the newly created position of chief partnership officer.

In this role, Bizak will be responsible for building upon Rogers & Gray’s acquisitive and/or partnership growth. Alongside the chairman and president/CEO, Bizak will help set and drive long-term strategy for mergers and acquisitions.

Bizak, who has been a partner at Rogers & Gray since 2004, will maintain his existing client relationships but his future focus will shift to the strategic identification of potential acquisitions, relationship building and the execution of due diligence activities.
