Caledonia, Michigan-based retail consulting and insurance brokerage, Acrisure, appointed industry veteran William Malloy as president of its Specialty Division.

Malloy has extensive leadership experience in the insurance industry, spending over a decade with AIG where he held various executive positions in the United States and Europe.

He also has served as CEO of the UK and Europe for Marsh Inc. and ultimately became that company’s worldwide president.

Most recently, Malloy was as an operating partner at the investment firm Aquiline Capital Partners LLC where he has served in chairman and CEO roles.

Great American Insurance Group hired Christopher M. Banocy as divisional vice president for Innovation Strategy within its Property & Casualty Group.Banocy will provide leadership, strategy and direction surrounding the company’s innovation efforts.

He joins Great American from Erie Insurance, which he first joined in 2011 in a marketing position and where he most recently served as vice president of Innovation. His 17 years of business experience also include jobs with General Electric and Archer Daniels Midland.

Integrity Insurance in Appleton, Wisconsin, named Sarah Krause as AVP – Talent Management & Operations.

Krause is an insurance veteran with 20 years of industry and leadership experience. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds several insurance designations — CPCU, ARM, AU and ARe.

Integrity Insurance, established in 1933, offers auto, home and business insurance through a network of independent agents throughout Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. It is an affiliate partner with Grange Insurance based in Columbus, Ohio.

Missouri-based Insurance Group of St. Charles County hired Brian Wies as a sales producer.

Wies will generate leads and develop new business, as well as handle renewals and oversee existing accounts in the property/casualty marketplace. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2012.

Allied Insurance Brokers promoted Landin Beer to senior account manager for the territory that includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Beer will handle a book of business focusing on insurance and risk management products and services for the scaffold, crane and rental equipment dealer industries, as well as provide support to Allied’s existing clients.

Beer previously worked as an account manager alongside Allied’s senior producers. She has earned her Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.

Thorn Valley Safety, a Dayton, Ohio-based specialist in commercial auto risk control and claims advocacy, appointed Mark Aussicker as president.

Aussicker has more than 30 years of risk management and claims experience at the carrier, agency and third-party administrator levels.

Reinsurance broker JLT Re (North America) Inc. (JLT Re) appointed Todd Burgener as executive vice president in Chicago.

Burgener will be working closely with healthcare captive clients and prospects to develop tailored risk transfer solutions in the healthcare sector.

Specialty insurer RLI Corp., based in Peoria, Illinois, named Seth A. Davis vice president of Corporate Services and promoted Patrick D. Ferrell to vice president of Internal Audit.

Davis will lead the company’s assessment of internal controls over financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and other non-audit governance activities. He has more than 22 years of industry experience. Prior to joining RLI in 2004, he served as internal audit director for CNA in Chicago.

Ferrell succeeds Davis and will lead the company’s internal audit assurance and advisory activities. He began his career at RLI in 2004 and previously served as an internal auditor and claims specialist at State Farm for more than 10 years.
