Salt Lake City, Utah-based Leavitt Group Insurance Advisors has named Mike Scott a senior risk advisor and director of program business.

Scott will focus on middle markets, large accounts, and hard-to-place specialty risks.

Scott previously worked for Trustco Inc. as a senior account executive and middle market practice leader.

Leavitt Group Insurance Advisors is part of Leavitt Group, a privately-held insurance brokerage.

CAL Insurance & Associates Inc. has named Abby Baldini an account manager.

She joins the firm’s employee benefits team.

Baldini was the owner of a State Farm agency in the Bay Area prior to CAL.

CAL Insurance is an independent insurance agency that designs and implements insurance programs for middle market businesses and affluent families.

Paul VanDenBosch has been named president of Nationwide Private Client.

Nationwide Private Client business operations are based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

VanDenBosch was most recently regional vice president for Nationwide’s Southwestern regional operations. Prior to this position, VanDenBosch held positions within Nationwide inclusive of officer and associate vice president. He started within the insurance industry as an exclusive agent.

Nationwide Private Client caters to the needs of high net worth segment.

Generali Global Assistance has named James Sion chief operating officer and Mark Taber chief insurance officer in its travel insurance division.

Sion will head all operations and strategies of the division and will be located in San Diego, Calif., the company’s travel insurance headquarters.

Sion was the COO in consumer insurance for AIG prior to Generali. He also worked at Allianz in various roles.

Taber will set the direction for underwriting results and profitability for the travel insurance lines in the U.S.

Taber previously was the claims performance analytics executive at CSAA Insurance Group.

Generali Global Assistance is part of the multinational Generali Group.

Hub International of California has named Jason Del Grande vice president of employee benefits. Del Grande will join the San Francisco employee benefits team, which shares servicing responsibility with 10 sister offices in Northern California.

Hub has also added Maria Torres as vice president and account executive for the California executive liability team.

Del Grande has more than 12 years of industry experience. He began his insurance career with internships at Gallagher & Marsh. He was most recently with EPIC Insurance Brokers.

Torres most recently was a vice president and advisory specialist for Marsh Risk and Insurance Services’ financial professional insurance service team.

Chicago, Ill.-based Hub International is an insurance brokerage that provides property/casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment, and risk management products and services.

All Risks Ltd. has added Brandon Aasen to its San Francisco, Calif., office as a property broker.

Aasen will be responsible for producing new property business for the West Coast.

He has experience on the insured side, the retail side and the wholesale side of the insurance industry. He was most recently a property broker for CRC Swett, where he was responsible for building client relationships and developing a book of middle market property business. Prior to CRC Swett, Aasen was a global property client advisor at Marsh & McLennan Cos. He started his insurance career risk management department for Hamilton Co.

Seattle, Wash.-based PEMCO Insurance has named Sally Bauer senior systems manager for the digital services team.

Bauer has nearly 30 years of experience in software engineering and insurance technology integration.

Bauer replaces Paul Barry, who recently transitioned to PEMCO’s executive leadership team as the company’s vice president of claims.

Bauer previously worked with Microsoft, where she was responsible for leading teams that provided infrastructure hosting services to Microsoft Technology Centers around the world.

Prior to Microsoft, she spent time in vice president roles at BECU, Bank of America and Mutual of Enumclaw.
