Sullivan Insurance Group is continuing to grow its personal lines department with the addition of Shilo E. Eisnor.
Eisnor has worked in the insurance industry for 20 years at several agencies, most recently at the Kaplansky Agency in Milford, Mass. She is licensed in property and casualty in the state of Massachusetts.

Hub International Northeast, a subsidiary of global insurance brokerage Hub International Limited, has hired Terrance Farrell as vice president of marketing, and Vaughan Reale as vice president, responsible for employee benefits brokering and consulting.
Based out of the New York City office, Farrell is responsible for maintaining relationships with Hub’s key insurance carriers and working directly with clients to ensure they are placed with the appropriate market.
Prior to joining Hub in October 2017, Farrell served as an assistant vice president with Willis Towers Watson in New York City. In that role, he worked in the Middle Market Property Marketing Group, focusing on real estate and manufacturing clients. Prior to Willis, Farrell was an insurance broker at Aon.
In his new role, Reale will be working with employers to deliver customized and comprehensive benefits programs. With more than 30 years of industry knowledge and experience, he will be working in the Philadelphia Metro and Southern New Jersey marketplace.
Previously, Reale has served as an executive for a variety of benefits-related companies, including health insurance carriers, a pharmaceutical benefit management company and benefit consulting firms. He has also served four years as the mayor of the city of Margate, N.J.
The Brethren Mutual Insurance Co. has hired Bob Glass as its new director of underwriting.
Glass brings more than 30 years of insurance experience in property and casualty underwriting, marketing and product development with Aetna Casualty & Surety Co., Travelers Insurance, The Hartford and Union Mutual.
As director of underwriting, Glass will oversee Brethren Mutual’s personal, commercial and farm underwriting areas and focus on achieving consistent and sustainable underwriting results for the company.
Established in 1897, Brethren Mutual Insurance Co. is headquartered in Hagerstown, Md., and writes personal, commercial and farm business in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Delaware through independent insurance agents.
Peter Breitstone, a former senior executive at Insureon, Aon and Zurich, was named CEO of Goji, a Boston, Mass.-based, technology-enabled personal lines insurance distribution platform that matches high lifetime value preferred consumers with more than a dozen national insurance carriers.
Breitstone’s appointment was announced by Matt Coffin, Goji’s recently-appointed executive chairman.
Breitstone has more than 20 years of senior executive leadership experience at several global insurance companies. He also built and ran Environmental Partners, an insurance brokerage specializing in environmental risk and insurance management, which he sold to Aon.
Goji primarily writes home and auto coverage for consumers on behalf of its integrated network of national insurance carriers. It is currently a licensed agency in 41 states. Founded in 2007 as Consumer United, the company rebranded as Goji in 2014 to better address the preferences of high-value online buyers.
The Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut has named Jonathan T. Black of Fairfield, Conn., its PIA national director.
PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
Black owns Curtis-Black Insurance Associates LLC in Danbury, Conn.
With nearly 45 years of experience in the insurance industry, Black is licensed to write auto, home, life and health insurance policies in Connecticut. He has been a PIACT member since 1980.
He served as president of the association from 1994 to 1995 and currently is a member of PIACT’s Legislative/Business Issues Committee. Black also is chair of the PIA Group Trust.
As an active member of the insurance industry, Black is chair of the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
