Tricia Wilson has joined insurance broker Holmes Murphy as an account executive, specializing in property/casualty for the Dallas market.

Wilson comes to Holmes Murphy with more than 18 years of industry experience. Over the course of her career she’s developed experience in all facets of the business — sales, insurance placement, service consulting and leadership.

Most recently, Wilson was the operations manager at Swingle Collins and Associates.

Wilson is certified as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS).

Insurance broker and consultant, NFP Corp., has hired Kevin Brown as a managing director in its Austin, Texas, office. He will lead NFP’s retail sales and distribution operation, serving the Central Texas market.

Brown has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining NFP, Brown most recently was a market president and statewide employee benefits practice leader at Frost Insurance. Previously, Brown served as vice president of key accounts in Central Texas at United Healthcare. Brown started his employee benefits career at Great-West Life.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Jeff Summerville as head of Casualty, Financial & Professional Services North America. Summerville will oversee the North American Casualty business in addition to his current responsibilities as the leader of Financial and Professional lines.

He succeeds Robley Moor as head of Casualty North America, who moved to the sales organization as a key account manager this past summer.

Since 2014, Summerville has managed the Financial & Professional Lines businesses in North America. He has overseen the expansion of the Management Liability, Professional Liability, Cyber and Transactional Liability businesses.

Summerville has 25 years of underwriting and managerial experience with an expertise in management liability insurance and alternative risk solutions.
