Louisiana-based workers’ compensation insurance provider, LWCC, has promoted Brent Toups to vice president of policyholder services and agency relations.
Toups has over 19 years of industry experience with LWCC gaining expertise in the fields of premium audit, agency relations and underwriting. He joined the company in 1998 as a premium auditor then transitioned into the agency relations department. He was promoted to business unit manager of large accounts in 2012 and to assistant vice president of underwriting in 2014.
Hector Collazo has joined Burns & Wilcox as vice president and managing director in its recently opened San Antonio office.
Collazo has 30 years of experience in commercial insurance and most recently served as executive vice president for Myron Steves in San Antonio.
Burns & Wilcox is a member of H.W. Kaufman Financial Group.
The Southwest region of USI Insurance Services (USI) appointed Joshua Glover as the property/casualty practice leader for North Texas.
Glover brings 15 years of insurance brokerage experience to USI. Prior to joining USI, he was with Willis in Dallas, where he served as vice president in a team leader and producer role. Prior to that, Glover was principal and founder of a start-up brokerage in Florida.
Leeann Manalla, with SageSure Insurance Managers, was awarded the 1752 Club Company Representative of the Year Award by the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of Louisiana.
Based on peer recognition, the award publicly acknowledges Manalla’s efforts to elevate the status of the industry, her commitment to technical knowledge, high ethical standards and overall contribution to the association and the profession.
Manalla joined SageSure as the Louisiana field sales representative in 2013. She has been in the insurance industry for 30 years and is a member of several industry associations including PIA Louisiana, IIABL and the 1752 Club.
